Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP)

As a setting we have completed the Essex TPP (trauma perspective practice) training. This initiative promotes a trauma perceptive approach to understanding behavior and supporting the children's and staffs emotional wellbeing.

Essex Early Years Nourishing our future

We're delighted to say that we have successfully completed the 'Rooting' stage of the Essex Early Years Nourishinh our future ( NOF) award. This achivement reflects our commitment to creating a healthier future for children and familie in our community. Our next goal is achive the sprouting award so please watch this space.

2026 Update

This Term at Little Pumpkins: The children in our two year old room and Pre primary room have been enjoying taking part in forest schools, The pre primary children have also enjoyed Football with Clare. While the children in the Under twos room have been enjoying Jingles with Katie and Davina. We have also been exploring our local community and the Pre primary children enhoyed a visit from the local community group PACE. All of the children have taken part in the topic people who help us and we had a number of visitors coming to show the children different vehicles people use to help us, including a road sweeper, Tractor and the local building company. We are looking forward to one of our parents coming in this term to take part in a sensory dance session with some of the children.
